🚰 When Drinking Water Is BAD For Your Health
===============================================
#water

I believe water is one of the most important “nutrients” for your health. In fact, there are 3 main things you need to live and survive

Oxygen - without it, you’d die in a couple of minutes
Water - without it, you’d die in about 3 days or so.
Food - without it, you’d die in about a week.

Unfortunately, most people

Don’t drink enough water (and too much of the wrong liquids)
IF they do, they drink the wrong kind of water
And they drink during the wrong times

Today I’m going to discuss #3, drinking water during the wrong times, which can actually be BAD for your health.

Food + Water = BAD

So I’ll get right to it and keep it simple for you today… You should NOT drink water around mealtime or when you eat food. This means not before, during or after.

And this actually pertains to ALL liquids - soda, tea, juice, coffee, alcohol, etc. In fact, these other liquids are even worse!

Before A Meal
You shouldn’t drink water immediately BEFORE your meal because it dilutes and washes away your digestive enzymes and gastric juices.

When you think about eating a meal, see and smell the food, your mouth begins to salivate. Your saliva has digestive enzymes and this is actually the BEGINNING of your digestion of food and absorption of nutrients.

During A Meal
Most people drink water (and liquids) during a meal to help “wash down” the foods. They mistakenly believe that it actually helps digestion - but the opposite is true.

Drinking during your meal is a bad habit because it actually is preventing you from chewing your food more thoroughly, which is part 2 of digestion.

You should take your time chewing your food, breaking it up into smaller pieces because it helps digest and absorb the nutrients. It also reduces digestive problems like gas, bloat, acid reflux and so forth.

Unfortunately, most people just vacuum up their foods, barely chew it and use liquids to push it down their throat and into their stomach. This creates more of a burden in your stomach, leading to stomach and colon problems.

Lastly, this causes you to actually EAT more food because your brain has an automatic “stop eating” mechanism after about 20 minutes.

This is why SLOW eaters are usually thinner. They not only digest and absorb the foods better, but they also eat less food during that 20-min timespan.

After A Meal
By drinking water right after your meals, you are again tampering the natural time it takes for your food to digest. This also makes you feel hungrier faster and results in overeating and bloating.

Remember, just because you’re done eating, does NOT mean your body is done digesting. Depending on the calorie and macro content of the meal, your body will be digesting for another 2-3 hours.

Bur for sure, the main bulk of digestion happens for another 30-60 minutes.

Again, by drinking water (or any liquid) immediately before, during and after your meal, dilutes essential gastric juices in your stomach, reducing digestion and absorption of nutrients.

Food also enters the large intestine much faster than it should, which causes stomach discomfort and worst of all - high blood sugar and insulin spikes.

This in turn causes you to feel tired and gain fat.

So When Should You Drink Your Water?
About 30 minutes before your meal is the “latest” I suggest. So, if the food comes out at noon, drink your water no later than 11:30 and start eating at noon.

And wait at least 30 minutes after a meal and preferably 60 minutes, before drinking your water (and other liquids).

NOW, if you really need to have some water during the meal because something got stuck in your throat or you had something spicy or whatever, then go ahead and have a little sip of room temperature water. That’s it.

And if your goal is to lose weight, suppress your appetite and eat less food - then I suggest you have 2-3 big cups (16 oz/1 liter or more) about 30-45 minutes before a meal. Add in a little bit of lemon juice and/or apple cider vinegar to balance your blood sugar levels.

And here’s a bonus tip of you want to still enjoy some of your favorite foods, lose weight, improve colon health, and also help improve cholesterol and blood sugar levels:

🧠 Avoid These 5 Brain Damaging Neurotoxins Found In Popular Foods
====================================
As a reminder, neurotoxins are substances that can harm your central nervous system (CNS). And your Central Nervous System (CNS) controls most functions of your body and mind. It’s basically your brain and spinal cord.

Simply stated, when these neurotoxins get into your body and “attack” your CNS, they negatively affect how you feel and function.

All of your senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, etc.).
Your organs and stomach.
Muscle movements and strength.
Your emotions, mood, memory, cognition, sleep, etc., etc.

Obviously, this is a really big deal.

More so, it’s a massive problem because the FDA allows over allows 3,000 food additives to be used in our food supply and relatively few of them have been tested for safety. (1)

Unfortunately, a handful of food additives are well-documented neurotoxins, but are still found in popular foods most people eat daily, even in relatively healthy diets.

Neurotoxin #1: Aspartame Artificial Sweetener

Aspartame is a very popular artificial sweetener, especially about a decade ago. It’s found in most things labeled “sugar-free” or “diet”. Its typically found in diet sodas, candies, chewing gum and so forth.

You know, a lot of the stuff the kids eat, unfortunately.

The brand name is Equal or NutraSweet and sadly, I used to have a lot of this junk over 20 years ago.

There are over 100+ reported side effects of aspartame including migraines, dizziness, anxiety, memory loss, insomnia, and the worsening of many disorders ranging from fibromyalgia to Alzheimer’s disease. (2)

In fact, there were over 7,000 aspartame side effects reported to the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) between 1982 and 1995. (3)

You can also find lists of reported side effects on various reputable websites including Cancer.org and CDC.gov.

So, make sure you read the label and avoid this artificial sweetener. In fact, avoid them all except one of my favorites being, Stevia -- which is a natural, herbal extract.

Neurotoxin #2: Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
This basically acts like salt and it’s found in many packaged foods you eat, also when eating out. The saltier the food, the higher the MSG. They used to be heavily used in Chinese Foods.

MSG is very addictive and causes you to gain weight, but I’ll get to that in a minute.

Many times MSG is found in foods like canned soups, salty snacks, ramen noodles, processed meats and refined soy products. Also in many “spices”, broths and “flavorings”.

Unfortunately, the labels do NOT have to even say “Contains MSG”. Many times, using the word “natural flavoring” allows the use of MSG, without stating it on the label (thank you FDA!).

Here are some label-listed ingredients that always contain MSG: (25)
• hydrolyzed vegetable protein
• hydrolyzed plant protein
• hydrolyzed protein
• plant protein extract
• calcium caseinate
• sodium caseinate
• yeast extract
• textured protein

MSG has many negative mental and physical side-effects -- however, one that most people don’t know about is that it has a “negative nutrient partitioning” effect. This means that when you eat foods with MSG, the food converts much faster to BODY FAT, than to be used as energy and muscle building.

So you can basically eat the same amount of calories, but get fatter because of this artificial salt.

Neurotoxin #3: Diacetyl (In Popcorn)
Home-popped, microwave popcorn contains butter “flavoring”, with an additive called, diacetyl.

You won’t see the word diacetyl on the label, but if you see “artificial butter flavor” or “natural flavors,” assume the product contains this neurotoxin.

Neurotoxin #4: Mercury
In recent years, I’ve been much more concerned about mercury poisoning because I’ve been eating more fish. I go out and eat sushi. Unfortunately, many fish have high levels of mercury, due to environmental pollutants in the air and water.

This includes one of my favorite fish, TUNA - which I now avoid. You also want to avoid swordfish and orange roughy.

Neurotoxin #5: Aluminum
The last neurotoxin you want to avoid is Aluminium, because there’s 50 years of proof that it can lead to Alzheimer’s.

💔 How To Reduce Your Risk For Cancer By 50%, For 3 Pennies Daily
===============================================
#cancer

So I’ve got a simple tip for you today, that can reduce your risk of various cancers by upto 50% or more, for about $1-$2 a month, that’s roughly 3 pennies daily.

Experiments1 have shown that vitamin D can slow the growth of cancer cells, stimulate cell death, reduce blood vessel growth to tumors, decrease inflammation, and stimulate the body’s immune system.

And if you already have cancer, taking vitamin D along with Chemotherapy, will allow you to live 50% longer.2

Vitamin D helps all sorts of cancers and tumors growth… However, more specifically it seems to work best on colon, prostate and breast cancer.4 So well that at optimal Vit. D levels, can help reduce your risk for getting these cancers by up to 50% or even more!

Vit. D has lots of health benefits, in addition to the cancer avoidance factor. Such as
Bone and teeth health
Reduce hair loss
Improving immune, brain and nervous system.
Improves your mood
Reduces infection and the flu by 40%5
Reduces risk for diabetes
etc...
95% Are Deficient

Now, what’s important to note is that most people, well over 95%... are deficient in Vitamin D or don’t have optimal levels.

In a blood test, most labs have a range of 30-100 ng/mL as optimal, while being less than 25 is being “deficient”. The “cancer prevention/reduction” optimal levels are over 50 ng/mL and I actually prefer people to be over 70 ng/mL

Best Way To Get Your Vitamin D - The SUN

The best way to get your vitamin D is through the sun. I don’t care what anyone says, the sun is amazingly powerful and healing. EVERY organism and animal requires what the sun has to offer.

Sadly, even people who are living in sunny climates, for example California or Nevada, are still very deficient in Vit. D. Remember, even if the sun is out, most of us are NOT outside to get enough sun exposure.

Pus, lmost people are deathly afraid of the sun, thinking they’ll get skin cancer -- which is a big LIE.

It’s true, that the sun will accelerate wrinkles. So, what I suggest is to cover your face, neck and upper chest, by wearing a big hat to prevent the sun from hitting those areas where we don’t want any wrinkles.

And maybe cover your hands, especially for women… since they can also wrinkle and show signs of aging.

I would rather you do NOT wear sunblock, since they’re filled with bad chemicals.

Instead, go get some sun on the rest of your body parts -- arms, shoulders, legs, back and so forth. Do it for 15-30 minutes daily. Do NOT burn. Start low and build up.
Second Best Way To Get Your Vitamin D - Supplements

With all of that said, the next best way and the one which will be most convenient for us is through supplements. Even though, the sun will accelerate the absorption of the supplement as well… so still try to get some sunlight.

You want to purchase Vitamin D3, not D2 or any other forms. Take about 5000 units daily. I take 10,000 units daily. But I also take 1 or 2 days OFF every week.

Of course, the best way to know how much you need, is with a blood test. Try to get your levels over 50 ng/mL and preferably between 70-100 ng/mL

Take it in the morning, with food.

What About Food Sources?

Lastly, you may be thinking, “can I get it from foods” and yes, you can. But, you’re just not going to get enough and it’s not consistent. It’s just easier and a better, long-term solution to just take it in pill form and try to get more natural sunlight.

====================================
🧠 5 Common Foods That Cause Or Increase Depression
====================================
Most people don’t realize that your emotions can influence what you eat. For example, when you’re under extra stress (emotional or physical), your body and brain, will crave more sugar and carbohydrates. One reason is because it wants to help increase serotonin and dopamine levels.

Women see this happen more often during their menstrual cycles due to their hormonal changes and thus, various cravings occur.

However, what you eat can also influence your mood. So the reverse can happen

And today I’m going to reveal 5 common foods that can decrease your mood, deplete your body, increase negative feelings and thus, even cause or increase depression.

Thus, simple food changes, such as avoiding or limiting today’s 5 foods, can be the difference between feeling much worse or actually feeling more stable, better and happier.

I’ll also give you alternative solutions.

And this very important, especially considering that over 7% of the American population over the age of 18 is diagnosed with clinical depression.

This does not take into account teenagers, which also deal with a lot of depression.

This also does NOT take into account all the people who haven’t been tested, who haven’t sought out help or simply, they just feel really down or depressed… without the “official diagnoses”.

So, if you’re feeling down or depressed, you’re not alone. And, it may not be your fault. It could be related to the foods you’re eating.

There’s hope and at the end of today’s video, I’ll also give you a really effective solution that you can use to help rebalance and optimize brain chemicals, so you can feel happier and reduce feelings of depression, worry and anxiety.

SUGAR

Sugar and salt are found in almost all foods, especially those that taste good. However, in a 2015 study1, it revealed that the increase in added sugars in one’s diet, was associated with an increased likelihood of depression.

In fact, there’s a correlation between depression, diabetes and dementia. And the researchers have discovered that when blood glucose levels are elevated, levels of a protein that encourages the growth of neurons and synapses, drops.

Translation: The simple act of eating sugar makes your brain work at a suboptimal level—and the more you do it, the greater your risk of depression and the greater your risk of diabetes and dementia, too.

SOLUTION: Just read the labels and limit “sugars” whenever possible, especially when you’re not feeling 100%.
Artificial Sweeteners

And this includes artificial sweeteners, especially Aspartame (NutraSweet or Equal), which is found in diet sodas and “no sugar” foods… Because it blocks the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin. This can cause various neuro and head problems such as headaches, insomnia, changes in mood—and yes, depression.

SOLUTION: Avoid all artificial sweeteners. Instead, use natural ones such as Stevia, which is an herbal extract.

Hydrogenated Oils
Hydrogenated oils can be found in most fried foods, as well as packaged “junk” foods -- such as cookies, cakes, candies, chips, crackers, margarine and spreads.

Hydrogenation happens when you take vegetable oils and you heat them or make them into solids. This also causes trans fats, which is the worst type of fat to consume.

Now, I've simplified this process, leaving out the boring chemical stuff because the point is, you want to avoid these fats.

Not only do they cause weight gain, inflammation and other physical problems - but they’re also linked to depression.

SOLUTION: Read labels, avoid hydrogenated and trans fats. At home, it’s best to NOT heat or cook with vegetable or seed oils. Have those cold, like on a salad. If cooking, choose a saturated fat such as butter or better yet, coconut oil -- which happens to have health benefits for your body and mind.

Alcohol
Most people aren’t going to like hearing this, especially since Alcohol is the drug of choice when people are feeling “down” and hopeless.

However, Alcohol is a depressant, and more specifically, depresses your central nervous system (CNS). … Which controls how you feel, physically and emotionally. It controls so many of your neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, etc.)

SOLUTION: Limit or avoid alcohol, especially when you’re feeling down, hopeless or depressed. It’s just going to make it worse!
