While looking for BB8 in the museum, I found a little bee on the floor. She was alive but very sluggish. So, we pulled out the hummingbird sugar water from the fridge and gave her some... she drank immediately and then flew off! We had to catch her with a net and put her outside. Good luck, friend! PS- we named it- Bartlebee.

Bees are VITALLY important to the health of ecosystems and agriculture around the planet. Please help a tired bee if you find one, don't kill them, and plant native plants for pollinators! Thanks guys!

Correction! - I got a name wrong- the contributor of the first video's name is LAWSON Hopper, not Lawrence! I apologize, Lawson!

Hi guys! I made short video today about an interesting behavior of cottonmouths, a North American pit viper best known for hanging out near water and eating fish.

NOTE - These are not aggressive animals. They are defensive. Please keep a safe distance from any venomous snake and show the animal respect.

Meet my juvenile Savannah Monitor, Mad Max! My boyfriend Kam feeds him superworms in this video. Max eats a variety of insects and occasionally, low fat meat like ground turkey or slivers of chicken. He also loves hard boiled eggs! Savannah monitors, also known as Bosc monitors, are an African species that grow to around 3 feet long. In the wild they mainly eat invertebrates, but juveniles are also known to eat amphibians.

Stick around tomorrow for a new video about some awesome and strange monitor species with a peculiar diet!

Sorry for the poor video and audio- I was on my way to the gym when I saw this beautiful timber rattlesnake on the busy highway. I moved it off the road and decided to give some identification pointers!

Also, forgive the vertical video- I don’t ever film that way but decided to do so to make it FB friendly!

Timber rattlesnakes are one of my favorite native species here in Georgia. As you can see, it was defensive NOT aggressive! It’s a myth that they’re aggressive. This is evidence of that fact! It was just upset because a giant predator (me) was up in its bizness.
